No one
really knows when Peg solitaire was invented. Some stories trace
it to prisoners during the French Revolution. Most likely the game
is even older. There are probably variations in all cultures dating
to antiquity.
The object
of this game is to remove all the pegs in the least amount of time
and finish with only one peg in the target hole.
Pegs are moved
on the board by jumping over another peg where permitted by a vacant
hole. The peg that was "jumped over" is then removed.
Continue until
all but one peg remains.
Good Luck!
